ABOUT US
FAMILY BUSINESS
Our family business, rooted in the heart of Scotland, thrives on truly collaborative creations. From our design studio and workshops located in the little mountain village of Deia in the North West corner of Mallorca, we work closely with our clients and their representatives throughout the design process and are obsessive about creating bespoke design interiors that suit our clients’ lifestyles. We have worked on many projects together as a family, carefully bringing together our strengths in interior design, antique restoration, textile design & manufacture and cabinet restoration.
EXPERIENCED
PROFFESIONALS
Amanda Pickett, the Mistress of the Drape and founder of Clarke Pickett, possesses an extraordinary talent. After studying at York Antique College at a very young age, she amassed a wealth of relevant knowledge working in her parents’ business combining interior design with history and antique restoration. Amanda has passed this knowledge on to the rest of the family to ensure everyone is able to work to the best of their abilities. In addition, Clarke Pickett regularly consults with a global network of Art Creatives to add an extra layer of inspiration to the journey, ensuring we create timeless solutions that our clients will love
DESIGN
PROCESS
We firmly believe that open communication with clients, from the project’s inception to completion, ensures lasting relationships and has clients returning year after year. The secret to our success lies in our ability to listen and create unique spaces that mirror our clients’ desires. We tell their story through the careful use of artwork, colours, textures, and style. We’re not about fuss; we’re about evoking contemplation! For example, we recently collaborated with a major hotel Group to meticulously craft bespoke antique textile pillows for their lounge area. These opulent pillows enhance the brightness of the space, showcasing the true essence of our talents. Recently, we tailor-made replica antique four poster beds for designers on the Island. The intriguing twist? A combination of English silks and local Mallorquin textiles.”
